Balancing Heritage and Innovation

This project pairs the sensitive renovation of a traditional countryside home with the addition of a contemporary extension. The bold new structure, clad in Corten steel offers crisp angular lines and expansive glazing, creates a dramatic contrast while drawing light deep into the living spaces. Its contemporary form sits in deliberate dialogue with the historic brickwork of the original house, achieving a balance between heritage and innovation.

Extension & Renovation 2022

Working with a grade 2 listed property required precision and consideration, ensuring the historic character of this 18th century farmhouse was preserved while creating a striking new addition. The result showcases not only our attention to detail but also our ability to balance heritage and innovation seamlessly.
